COURSE OVERVIEW

Ethnically diverse teams are 35% more likely to experience above-average profitability. This shows how a multicultural, talented, and trained employee base gives companies a key advantage. Unfortunately, many racial inequities exist in American workplaces, so organizations need to take action to acquire that advantage. In this course, learners are shown the importance of investing in Black talent and why not doing it effectively, or at all, hinders the company's growth, diversity, and innovation. Emphasizing how centuries of exploitation, oppression, and disenfranchisement of the Black community has created predominantly white organizational leadership, this course teaches learners the moral and "business" cases for cultivating a more diverse workforce. This course explores the skills for effective leadership in a diverse workforce and how those skills lead to financial returns above the company's respective national industry medians. Present this course so all those involved in retaining and hiring employees know why and how to identify, attract, develop, and retain Black talent..
