COURSE OVERVIEW

When addressing performance problems, it is important to provide the employee with the correct type of feedback. What managers should focus on is improving a person's performance, not to create conflict. This course helps managers learn how to provide feedback and guide employees to determining solutions to performance problems. This training course shows the impact of a negative feedback session, and then how to have a more proactive and positive discussion to reach the desired outcome. Managers learn how to come to agreement with an employee on a performance issue. While delivering feedback to an employee, managers should clarify their expectations and explain why they think an employee is not performing well. They also learn how to remain respectful and courteous while creating a performance improvement plan. Use this course to prepare managers to fix performance problems with constructive feedback..
