COURSE OVERVIEW

Over 35,000 fire emergencies occur in industrial facilities in the US each year. Most of these fires are preventable through fire safety education. When employees who work in industrial facilities know the types and causes of fires that could occur at their workplace, they take action to prevent, mitigate, and extinguish them, should one break out. From recognizing common hazards in industrial environments to acting quickly and safely in a fire emergency, this fire safety course illustrates how and why most industrial fires are caused and shows learners how to prevent them. Use this course to enable all employees throughout the facility to internalize safe practices for acting quickly and effectively before or during a fire emergency..
