COURSE OVERVIEW


This training addresses the importance of GHS (Globally Harmonized System) Safety Data Sheets for people that work on site with chemicals. There are many risks and hazards using chemicals, and the Safety Data Sheets give a universal explanation on how to properly store and work around the chemicals, clean up spills and deal with exposure emergencies, including skin and eye contact. This training explains what Safety Data Sheets are and why they have been made universal. The major sections are; MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and GHS Safety Data Sheets, Hazards, Emergencies, and Handling Materials. This is an important training to understand the importance of the Safety Data Sheets and how they can easily guide workers with the safety procedures necessary for working with chemicals..
