COURSE OVERVIEW
This is the second course in an eight-part, video on demand series on hazardous materials safety for incident management. The second course focuses on identifying the problem during a hazardous materials incident. Course topics include sizing up the situation, describing container types, differentiating DOT placards and labels, UN numbers, NFPA 704 markings, shipping papers and air monitoring. Use this series to satisfy the training requirement of OSHA's Hazwoper rule, as well as NFPA 471 and NFPA 472..
