COURSE OVERVIEW


Per OSHA requirements, employees must develop an energy control program. This program is to include written procedures for lockout/tagout to prevent employee injuries from shocks and burns. Use this training course to teach employees the importance of following the energy control program during equipment maintenance. This course disseminates the steps of the lockout/tagout procedure, including identifying and isolating energy sources, using lockout/tagout devices, and testing for potential energy sources. By following your energy control program and the advice in this course, employees learn how to control hazardous energy sources before performing maintenance on their equipment..
