COURSE OVERVIEW

Hazardous chemicals are found in many workplaces across most industries. You must be trained and know what each chemical in your place of work does and how it can affect you should you encounter them even if you don't come in contact with them on a daily basis. This video training explores the Cal/OSHA hazard communication standard. Viewers learn about the requirements of the written plan for hazard communications. This training shows examples of the types of health, environmental, and chemical hazards that can occur. This training also explains the pictograms found on chemical containers. Finally, the course overviews safety data sheets and Proposition 65. Use this video to educate employees about Cal/OSHA hazard communication requirements and how to use the information hazard communication provides to work safely with chemicals..
