COURSE OVERVIEW

More than 60% of all construction-related injuries and fatalities are attributed to four construction worksite hazards. Identified by OSHA as the "Fatal Four," these hazards constantly change as the construction project progresses though each stage. This course teaches workers the number of construction-related injuries and deaths can be reduced, once these "Fatal Four" or "Focus Four" hazards are recognized and understood. This course spotlights each of the four hazards: Struck-By Hazards, Caught-In or Caught-Between Hazards, Fall Hazards, and Electrocution Hazards. Then, this course shows workers the common causes, nuances, and prevention of these hazards while also teaching how and when to be aware of them as the construction site enters and completes its numerous stages. Use the course to ensure all construction workers know OSHA's Fatal Four construction hazards and how to prevent and avoid them on the job site..
