COURSE OVERVIEW


Personal protective equipment (PPE) of some kind is required at many workplaces, and it is the last line of defense against injuries when something goes wrong. This refresher safety training explores how supervisors can encourage their employees to use PPE when required. This video is a refresher course about the proper use of personal protective equipment. Examples are discussed of common types of PPE, including hard hats, safety glasses, protective footwear, gloves, specialty clothing, and hearing and respiratory protection. Supervisors must set a good example for employees and maintain a firm stance on the importance of using PPE when necessary.
